Strip Contact Plating Barrels

This new barrel design features strip contacts, which are embedded in the corner support rails to transmit the current throughout the barrel. The strip barrel also features an integral copper contact within a steel outer J Bar, for most efficient transfer of current through the contacts.

An alternative to standard traditional danglers, the strip contacts are always best positioned in relation to the products and the smooth interior of the barrel results in fast, efficient plating.

Plating barrels for long products

Strip barrels can be manufactured up to 2m in length, so can accommodate a wide range of products and are particularly suited to long rods and strips, e.g. the long brackets used in double glazing units.
