Saxonia, based in Germany can trace its roots back to the 17th Century and is involved in the processing of precious and other metals. Eagle Engineering were asked to supply bespoke barrels for their nickel and copper plating process. By working with Saxonia, Eagle designed and built a barrel that provided more amps for less voltage.
Saxonia say:
“Not only have the Eagle barrels given savings in power consumption, which is really significant in an operation of our size, but also we have zero reported product entrapment”

Other recent projects include the supply of plating barrels and barrel units to customers in Germany, Russia, Ireland and Italy, together with 3 separate projects delivering barrel plating equipment to Turkey.
